一、教学重点

语言功能:描述建筑物

模块分析:Uint1创设了Daming向Simon介绍长城的情景,复习了以前学习过的句型How long…?How old…?并练习用长度高度和时间来描述物体。Unit2则以游戏和歌曲的形式进一步练习和巩固知识点以及语言的运用,应重点掌握“listen and repeat”中对建筑物的简短描述。

二、活动

活动1:猜谜

活动目的:巩固句型,训练孩子听力,培养观察力。

活动准备:教师需要提前熟悉所准备的几个规定范围。

活动过程:教师在规定范围内,向全体学生描述出指定物体(或建筑物)的长短(或高矮)或者修建(或使用)时间,请学生猜出该物体(建筑物),首先回答正确的学生得到老师的小奖励。例如;以教室为规定范围,教师可描述一块黑板的长度和高度(如果学生猜不出,可以加上颜色或者大小的描述),让学生举手回答老师所描述的是教室里的什么东西。

活动2: 估算

活动目的:巩固和练习句型,培养孩子说的能力以及运用数学常识估算周围事物的能力。

活动准备:一些具备不同长度高度和历史时间的实物或者图片。

活动过程:教师逐个出示准备好的实物或者图片,请学生目测实物或者图片里的物体的长度,高度或历史时间,可分小组进行比赛后,各组回答完毕后宣布答案,最接近正确答案的小组加一分。

活动3:经典建筑物展

活动目的:熟悉各国著名建筑物,从写这个方面来巩固本模块重点句型。

活动准备:一套中国、日本、美国、法国、埃及、英国等国国旗图片;一套与其相对应的各国标志性建筑物的图片(也可让学生自行收集);一套小的空白卡片。

活动过程:教师可提前告诉学生将制作一期“各国经典建筑物展”,让学生课后收集相关图片以及建筑物的资料。制作展板的时候采取小组合作的方式,以小组为单位,不同分工,读写能力较好的同学负责写建筑物的英文说明;书法好的同学负责抄写;其他同学可负责剪,粘贴和装饰。最后,展板内容最丰富齐全,设计新颖的小组获胜。将展板置于走廊或其他成果展示处,供大家互相学习,互相欣赏。

模块分析:本模块主要围绕Daming写给妈妈的一封电子邮件这一主题展开,Unit1主要呈现以前学习过的过去式句型,并设计了一个练习环节供学生谈论过去发生的事情;Unit2 通过呈现几个不同小朋友的电子邮件来进一步复习用过去式谈论已经发生过的事情,还以一首绕口令加强对过去式的印象。本模块设计的活动开始渗透对学生读写能力的培养。

活动1:小宠物

活动目的:练习三个过去式句型。

活动准备:和全班学生人数相等的小怪物图片(见图)。

活动过程:教师出示“小宠物”图片,谈论自己昨天去过的地方,并完成“小宠物”的脚(I went to…);再说出自己昨天吃的东西,并完成“小宠物”的嘴巴(I ate…);接着告诉学生自己昨天看到的东西,完成“小宠物”的眼睛(I saw…);最后提及自己昨天买的东西,并完成“小宠物”的手(I bought…)。在教师完成以后,请每个学生按照老师先前示范的样子,也补充完整自己的“小宠物”。正确完成的学生得到老师的小奖励。

活动2:给Daming的一封电子邮件

活动目的:学习和练习电子邮件的使用方法,培养写的能力。

活动准备:数台可以上局域网的电脑,微机教室,给每组学生申请一个电子邮箱。

活动过程:教师把全班学生分成几个小组,上课前一天布置家庭作业,给Daming写一封信,介绍自己最近的情况,并邀请Daming到自己的家乡来玩。上课时教师在教师机上示范写电子邮件的步骤和方法。然后以小组为单位,把准备好的信输入电脑。在局域网里成功发送邮件的小组获得老师奖励。

活动3:我的宝贝

活动目的:巩固本模块所复习的过去式,锻炼学生口头表达能力,培养学生的荣誉感。

活动准备:教师和每个学生均准备自己最喜欢的一个小物品。

活动过程:教师拿出自己准备的一件小物品,介绍给大家,告诉学生宝贝的来历(地点,时间)和喜欢的原因。之后请学生上台用“It’s a… I went to… I saw… I bought…”等简单句子讲述和描述小宝贝,最后说明喜欢的原因。大家一起分享小小的快乐。

把前面画成一幅的图片再加上一张或是更多张就变成了复数,这样可以让学生非常直观的理解单数与复数的不同,并且让他们自己好好的比较一下并总结出他们的不同之处,这样效果会更好一点。

让学生在学习了课文的基础上,有利用知识对其他的邮票进行描述,这样就可以检测一下学生学习的情况,同时可以让学生拿出自己带来的邮票进行描述,这样可以提高学生的兴趣。

活动1:书包里的小秘密

活动目的:练习Have you got…?Yes,I have./No,I haven’t.句型,锻炼学生说的能力,同时,培养学生观察力,记忆力。

活动准备:教师的随身包,学生的书包。

活动过程:教师拿出自己随身携带的包包,请大家用本课句型来猜测一下,包里都有什么。答对的同学得到小奖励。然后,教师借一位同学的书包到讲台上,再请大家猜测这位同学书包里有什么小秘密。最后,让同桌的两位同学为一组,互相猜测各自的书包里都有什么东西,猜对的多的同学获得小奖励。

活动2: 许愿树

活动目的:巩固和练习句型“I need…”,了解孩子们的心理和兴趣所在,锻炼孩子大胆说出自己的想法,同时锻炼书写。

活动准备:一棵许愿树,若干小卡片。

活动过程:把一棵塑料许愿树放置到讲台上,告诉学生有关西方许愿树的来历。然后将小卡片分发给每个学生,让孩子们用“I need…”句型写下自己最需要的一件小物品,并注明原因。最后每个孩子把写好愿望的卡片挂上许愿树。教师筛选理由得当的小卡片告知家长,若能实现则更好。

活动3:“打破沙锅问到底”

活动目的:加强对句型“These stamps are from…”的运用,训练学生的思维,听说能力。

活动准备:在黑板上画一个大大的问号。并写下“The egg is from _____”

活动过程:教师请大家思考“鸡蛋是从哪里来?”,并回答。学生回答出鸡蛋来自鸡,接着问鸡从哪里来。以这个无限循环的问答拉开游戏序幕,然后再提问一些其他的物品来自哪里。例如,雨来自哪里?云来自哪里?水蒸气来自哪里…通过层层向上的提问和回答,来不断重复练习“The *** is from _____”.回答的得最长的学生得到老师的小奖励。

一、模块教学

语言功能:谈论中外节日;一般现在时的运用。

学习任务:My favourite is … It’s in … We do … We eat…

运用任务:举办“中西节日知多少”的小故事大赛,让大家用英文简单介绍自己所知道的东西方节日文化风俗;小调查:按照活动手册15页上表格所示在班内展开“你最喜欢的节日是什么?”的小调查,并说明原因;节日大搜查:让全班同学分组收集各国重要节日并制作成墙报,附英文说明。

模块分析:Uint1设置Simon向Daming介绍感恩节的场景来复习My favourite is … It’s in … We do … We eat…等句型。Uint2仍旧以东西方文化节日风俗的介绍为主题,介绍了圣诞节,进一步巩固了句型的运用。并且加入了月份的复习。

二、活动

活动1:我的节日我做主

活动目的:强化句型练习,锻炼学生说的能力,培养学生的创新思维和动手能力。

活动准备:一本可以挂在黑板上的大的日历(年历),水彩笔。

活动过程:教师在活动开始之前,介绍给大家一些少数民族或者国外的非常有趣的节日,例如泼水节和愚人节。然后引导学生,“如果让你来设立一个节日的话,你会在什么时间设立一个什么节日,为什么?”学生用“I wish there will be a ____day.…”开始描述。教师可以在黑板上列出主要的句型结构“It’s in … We do … We eat…”,以帮助学生的描述。描述完以后,教师在日历(年历)上圈出来,作上记号(如:“Pet Day”—suggested by Lili)。最后完成一张“我们的节日年历”,让学生简单装饰后张贴在教室或者走廊的展示墙上。

活动2:特别的每一天

活动目的:锻炼说的能力,培养学生自信心,增加课外知识,了解西方民俗民风文化常识。

活动准备:让学生提前准备小资料。

活动过程:告诉孩子,每天都是特别的一天。都是不同的节日。让孩子们提前收集节日的小资料。每天在上课之前,给值日生2分钟的时间,用本模块中句型向大家介绍当天是哪个国家的什么节日,以及这个节日的来历。

活动3:生日榜

活动目的:复习月份单词,增进同学之间的互相了解,让学生学会关心和关注他人。

活动准备:制作一张大的年历,一盒水彩笔,教师自己的照片,每个学生的照片,胶水

活动过程:教师请学生用“Your favorite is …”猜测老师最喜欢的“节日”是什么,最后告诉大家,“My favorite is my birthday。It’s in ….”然后引导学生说出“My birthday is in…”,并将自己的照片贴在年历相应的日期上。所有的学生说完以后,完成一张贴满学生相片的生日榜,把它挂在教室的装饰墙上,并记得从那以后给过生日的同学说一声“Happy birthday!”

方法策略

用师生问候营造宽松和谐的课前气氛,通过课前的 “simon says.”的游戏激发学生学习英语的兴趣,放松心情,消除紧张情绪,投入到新课中,同时复习一些动作单词、短语为本课的学习坐好铺垫。

让学生传递单词卡片,全体学生一起说这个单词10次或是5次,传到那个同学那里,那个同学就起来用这个单词造个句子。

加强同学之间的合作意识,通过同桌两人的小组活动练习,巩固知识。通过提出任务,小组讨论,解决问题,为学生开创了一个很大的空间让思维飞翔。

根据听说领先的原则,由学生带着问题听新学内容,有了一定的目的性,同时使学生对新内容有了一个整体的把握,培养学生学习英语的习惯已经方法,训练了学生语音语调。学生天性爱表演,针对此特点,安排学生之间的表演,体现学生主体地位,实现学生主动参与学习的学习方式。

提供多种形式让学生操练这三封信,可以让学会更加牢固的掌握知识,采用读信的方式来导入新课可以很快提起学生的积极性,让三个回答问题的同学得到信并领读信,让其他孩子也有想展示的欲望。用不同的人称进行复数课文可以不让课堂单调乏味。

学生拿着三个头像描述,学生觉得有乐意,他们很乐意参与其中。

让学生站起来到教师里找自己想要交的笔友,并用英语介绍自己,这样可以融洽同学之间的关系,同时有助于学生思维的开拓。

一、模块复习

语言功能:写交友信,介绍自己的情况

学习任务:Can …;ask for a pen pal; I’m from…;I can speak…;I want…

运用任务:写一封交友信,条件许可的情况下,可结交国外笔友;互相询问同桌或者其他同学的兴趣爱好,用Can you…?;寻找好朋友(详见活动建议3)。

模块分析:Uint1以结交笔友为主题展开讨论,引出对Can…句型的复习,并设计了一个对话练习,让学生熟悉常见句式。而Unit2则安排了阅读练习,条件许可的话,也可以让学生练习简单的片段写作,此外,还可以通过歌曲强化本模块内容。

二、活动

活动1:给卡通们的信

活动目的:练习写简单句子介绍自己,提高学生的读写能力

活动准备:准备几个不同国籍的著名卡通娃娃(如机器猫,孙悟空,史诺比,米老鼠等),若干信纸,一个硬纸做的邮箱

活动过程:教师拿出准备好的卡通娃娃告诉学生,卡通是每个孩子童年的好朋友,写封交友信给自己最喜欢的卡通,卡通们一定会非常高兴。指导学生用本模块中学习的句型写信,然后投到卡通娃娃的邮箱里。选出写得好的张贴。

活动2: 超能力少年

活动目的:巩固和练习句型,发展孩子的思维和想象力

活动准备:若干条“Can you…?”问题,一件红色超人披风

活动过程:告诉学生将选出班上最有本领的“小超人”,挑战者站到讲台前,接受大家的提问。挑战者必须诚实回答。回答“Yes,I can.”最多的孩子成为小超人,教师授予小超人披风。

活动3:找朋友

活动目的:提高学生的阅读能力,增进学生的沟通和团队协作能力。

活动准备:和全班人数相等的小卡片,每两张卡片配成一对笔友。

活动过程:教师将卡片打乱后发给每个学生,请他们阅读自己的卡片,并且按照卡片上的要求去寻找与自己志趣相投的好朋友。在寻找的过程中,用Can you…?向别人提问。最先找到好朋友的5对-10对,得到老师小奖励。

活动4:猜猜我是谁

活动目的:锻炼学生的听说能力,增进学生之间的了解和沟通。

活动准备:一个眼罩

活动过程:教师请一个学生上台,带上眼罩;然后再请一名学生用英文介绍自己。台上的学生若能在介绍结束之前,说出介绍者的名字,则获胜。介绍自己的学生便上台带上眼罩,根据声音猜测下一位介绍自己的同学是谁,如此反复。
