在Read and say中，Wang Bing正在给他的英国朋友Tom发电子邮件，这时，Gao Shan进来了，引出了一段询问Tom情况的对话。对话中出现了用语I’m busy.及主语为第三人称单数的一半疑问句和特殊疑问句及其答语。在教学中，老师一定要注意，多给学生提供开口说英语的机会，并且给予鼓励，让他们对英语学习充满自信。
在Look, read and learn中，呈现了六个动作类词组，教师应运用多种方法帮助学生理解词义。在这一部分的学习时，不能只用单一的方式让学生记单词，而要通过游戏等让学生感兴趣的方式达到记忆的效果。
在Ask and answer中，通过几幅图的场景展现主要让学生掌握句型：What’s Mike doing? He’s jumping. Does he jump high?Yes, he does. No, he doesn’t.并在学习中反复进行说话练习。在学习这部分内容时，老师要多为学生设置情景对话，让学生在有趣的对话中掌握特殊重要句型。
在Work in pairs中，继续复习运用：What does…usually do …？ He\she usually …这两个句型要求学生四会掌握。教师可以利用简笔画、图片或生活照片，先与学生做问答练习，要求学生正确掌握主语为第三人称单数时动词的用法。在学生充分练习的基础上，教师安排学生对句型进行认读和书写训练，以增强学生的有效记忆。

三单元
学情分析与教学建议学生对即将要学的知识应当比较感兴趣，学生喜欢谈论自己的朋友和他们的爱好，学生有话表述，本单元主要是以谈论朋友的话题为主，让学生在真实情境中感受到学习的乐趣。
老师在教学中也可以多设置些情景，让学生在情景中对话；拓展教学材料，让学生带上自己愿意和同学分享的经历，共同学习、讨论，运用本单元的知识，以培养学生乐于别人分享的良好的品质。
