Ibegantomakeupmymindtolearnit.ButassoonasIsteppedontheice,Istumbledovermyself.Atonce,somepeoplecaughtme,andIturnedredovertheirlaughter.IbecamesodisappointedthatIdecidedtogiveup.WhenIwasabouttoleave,agirlcametowardsmewithasmileandsaid,"Nevermind,tryagainandyouwillsueed."Itriedagainandagain,butstillfellagainandagain.Iputupwiththewoundsandpainsandstoodupandwentontrying.Atthatmoment,thegirlcameupagain.Shesaidloudlytome,"Ok,youaredoingverywell."Thenshesigneda"V"tomewithherfingers.Iwasveryobliged,andwithherencouragement,Imadegreatprogress.Soon,Icouldskatequitewell.

Whiledoinganything,weoftenmeetmanykindsofsetbacks,butweshouldn’tloseheart,weshouldoverethemwithconfidenceinsteadofgettingawayfromthem.Thenwewillgainonevictoryafteranother.

我们学校附近有一个溜冰场。在冬天，我经常去那里滑冰，我非常喜欢这项运动。

起初，我只是去那里看别人滑冰。有良好技能的人可以滑冰。我从心底里佩服他们。但我不能自己做。我只是一个旁观者。我多么渴望滑冰!

我开始下定决心学它。但是当我一踏上冰面，我就绊倒了自己。突然，有人抓住了我，我笑得脸红了。我变得如此失望，我决定放弃。当我正要离开的时候，一个女孩微笑着对我说：“没关系，再试一次，你会成功的。”我试了一次又一次，但还是一次又一次地跌倒了。我忍受着伤痛，站起来继续尝试。在那一刻，女孩又来了。她大声对我说：“好吧，你做得很好。”然后她用手指向我签了一个“V”字。我非常感激，在她的鼓励下，我取得了很大的进步。不久，我可以滑冰相当好。

在做任何事情时，我们经常会遇到各种各样的挫折，但我们不应该丧失信心，我们应该满怀信心地克服它们，而不是远离它们。然后我们将获得一个又一个胜利。
