Foralongtime,duetotheimpactoftheextremeleftistideology,webasicallyholdanegativeattitudeontheroleplayedbytheKMTanditsarmyinthewar.ItseemsthattheKMTanditsmilitary’sactionsinthewar,didn’trelatetheoverallsituationofAnti-JapaneseWar,andevenhamperedthevictoryprocessofSino-JapaneseWar.WhentheAnti-JapaneseWarVictoryDay,thecontributionofthepatrioticofficialsalwaysaretouchedonlightly,peopledonotknowwhatgreatbattlestheKuomintangfoughtin,whatsacrificesthesoldiersmade,andalsocannotknowhowthepoliticalleadersusetheirtalent,courageanduprightnesstoleadthepeopletodefeattheevilinvaders.

Inreallife,thoseheroicsacrificesoldiers’familiesdonothaveaesstopension.ManymeritoriouspatrioticofficersandsoldiersoftheKuomintanghasbeendeniedfordecades,theydonotgetdulyrespect,someofthemsubjectedtounduediscriminationandevenpersecution.Weshouldnotfet,theKuomintanganti-Japanesepatrioticsoldiershaddefendedthispieceofourlandandfoughtinbloodshed,hadmadeoutstandingcontributionfortheindependenceoftheChinesenation.

长期以来，由于极左思潮的影响，我们对国民党及其军队在战争中所起的作用基本上持否定态度。看来国民党及其军队在战争中的所作所为，并没有涉及到抗日战争的大局，甚至阻碍了抗日战争的胜利进程。在抗日战争胜利纪念日，这位爱国官员的贡献总是轻描淡写，人们不知道什么伟大的战役国民党反对，什么牺牲的士兵，也不知道如何使用他们的政治领袖人才，勇气和正直领导人民打败邪恶的侵略者。

在现实生活中，那些英勇牺牲的军人家属无法获得抚恤金。几十年来，国民党的许多功勋爱国将士一直被拒绝，他们没有得到应有的尊重，有些人受到了不应有的歧视甚至迫害。我们不应忘记，国民党抗日爱国战士为保卫我们这片土地而在流血中作战，为中华民族的独立做出了卓越的贡献。
