MyhometownisbeautifulplaceItstandsnearawideriveratthefootoflowgreenhills.Ithasmanytallbuildingsandwidestreets.Therearetreesandflowerseverywhere.
Butithasnotalwaysbeenlikethat.Intheolddays,itwasasaddirtylittletown.Landlordsandmerchantslivedinthefewgoodhouses.Fortheworkingpeopletherewereonlydark,unhealthyroomsinoldbuildingsandhutsinnarrowmuddystreets.Nearlyeveryonewaspoorandmanyhadnowork.
Everythinghaschangedsinceliberation.Thepeople,ledbytheParty,havegotridofthemudanddirt.Theyhaveputupschools,theaters,shopsandflats.Theyhaveanassemblyhallandahospital.Alongtherivertheyhavebuiltoffices,hotelsandparks.Alotoffactorieshavesprungup.Ontheriver,streamersandboatseandgobusily,dayandnight.Theycarrytheproductsofourindustriestoallpartsofthecountry.
Ilovemyhometown,andIloveitspeople.Theyalsohavechanged.Healthyandhappy,theyaregoingallouttobuildsocialism.
