Is 开头是问句，回答yes或no不用考虑。

语法
1、是动词.am are is都是“是” 意思，但用法有区别请记住下面顺口溜：
我用am, 你用are, is连着他/她/它，复数全部都用are。
例句：I am Jiamin. How are you? Here you are.
My name is Ben. This is my dad. What is that?
Is it a pen? Yes, it is. Ben and Jiamin are good friends.
***请你用am are is填空。

2、表示某人的，要在人名后加’s。
例句：The old man is Jiamin’s grandpa.
This is Ms White’s book.

3、当物品数量为一时，称为单数，当物品数量为二或二以上时，称为复数。单数名词变为复数名词时，通常有以下几种情况。
（1）一般的单词直接加S，如，book----books,bag----bags,bed----beds
（2）以 s,x结尾的单词加eS，如，box----boxes,bus----buses
（3）以 辅音字母加y结尾的单词,把y改为i再加eS，如， lady----ladies,famiy----families
（4）oo改为ee,如foot----feet
（5）child变为children
