duringthefirstsummerholidayaftergraduation,iwaswanderinghowwouldibelookedlikeasateacherstandingbeforemyownstudents?youknow,amonthagoiwasastudent,amonthlateriwouldbeateacher.howtobalancethegreatcontrast?ihadawholemonthtomakesureallembarrassingsituationswouldbeconsidered.eventually,eachsituationididn’twanttoencounterihadfondtheresolutioninmymind.so,whatshouldidonextwouldbeputthemonimplementation.

asyouknow,thingsoftendevelopoutoftheimaginationofyourwill.it’saroutine,sowithoutexceptions,iwastrappedintheroutioo.withabig“wao!”efromstudents,iwalkedintoclassroom.that’smyfirststepfacingstudentsasateacher.iknowwhatdiditmean,really,iwastooyoungtobetheirteacherandlookedjustlikeanoldbrother.afterabriefintroductionofmyself,iwasreadyforplayingmyroleastheteacher.ithoughtitwouldbeeasiertorunoutoftime,ifyouwanttoplayirresponsibly.becausestudentsdidn’thaveanyexpectationonsuchayoungfellow.butihadtheambitiontoplaygoodthen.tobeapuppetortobeamotor,ichosethelatter,alonehadbeendeducedenoughonplatformasiusedtosee.butbeinteractivewithstudentsishardforagreenhandteacher,ilearnedthat15minuteslateraftermyfirststepintheclassroom.collecttheresponsefromstudents,thenmakeyourownresponsethroughyourfluentexpression,holdthetempointheclassroom,thosewerewhatiwanttodo.butihadtofacethefactit’shardforme.tooembarrassing,right?inthebeginningicanhandle,afterawhile,ifoundmyfrustration.withoutexperiencestodealwithbrokenmind,istoodontheplatformlikeafool.it’shardtoensurecontinuity,becauseyouhavetoclearupthemessedupmindunceasingly.afterseveralroundrobin,iwasalmostbeatendown,lostmytempowholly.
